Gerold Tagwerker’s work’s calls to review against the backdrop of the terms and formulations of minimal art from the 60’s, however, making any efforts at critical analysis or deconstruction.
We can consider Gerold Tagwerker as a “creator ex nihilo”, after all, his work is conceived using five central aspects that may very well be part of the minimalist discourse and at the same time his final work draws on manufactured material he happens upon and which then undergoes a subjective selection procedure.
